How do I get started?
Sign up an account with us. Registration is always FREE. After
providing your name, e-mail, and user name, we will send you
an e-mail with your password. When you're logged-in, simply
go to Change My Password to select a password of your choice.
Go to Photos Manager to browse a photo that you'd like other
users or agents to see. That's it! With this free account,
you have a simple portfolio that allows search engines to
browse through your information, and you can post messages
at the Forums to find out the latest news in the industries.
Why should I become a member?
Our search is open publicly for everyone even for those who are not members. This means that we are not charging casting agents or talent scouts to search for your portfolio. It is FREE to contact you through our web site without a fee. By doing so, we increase your chance of being casted.
Why are your web site services cheaper?
We use the same template for each portfolio package which has been thoughtfully designed. Although the portfolios have the same design structures, they provide different themes so you can add your own personalities. Also, by giving each user the freedom to edit his or her own portfolio, we reduce the overheads of our technical teams. So we can pass on the savings to you.
In addition, we use PayPal, the largest on-line payment service, which provides the security that a customer desires and also minimizes the workloads of our payment department. Unlike traditional credit card services, PayPal does not charge high transaction fees, thus we are able to reduce our service cost.
How do I enter a contest?
To enter a contest, check the Contest page. If there's an available contest, you can submit your photos
or files that are required to enter the contest. The prizes,
notification, and rules may vary depending on the contest,
please refer to the Official Rules of each contest before
entering.
What extra exposures would I get if I won the contest?
If you are the winner, a top 10 finalist, or a 15 runner-up, your winning photo
and/or your portfolio may be featured throughout the web site.
Your name including winning title (e.g. Winner John Doe) will
be available to popular search engines such as Google to enhance
your exposures.

How do I get featured even if I didn't win the contest?
If you are not one of the winners, you still have a chance of getting extra exposures. If you had a beautiful portfolio, meaning all of your photos in your gallery and layout of your resume and etc. are arranged nicely, we may want to showcase you. Also, checkout each sections throughout our web site, we may be holding activities that would feature your story and photos.
Am I obligated to pay once I signed up for an account?
Absolutely not, when you sign up we give you a free account
which requires no recurring fee. The free account comes with
a Free Portfolio. You can upgrade at any time to rank higher in search and get a more
professional portfolio. To upgrade, go to your user home page,
select Edit My Subscription , and then select the web site
design plan of your choice in the list menu.
Why should I purchase an Enhanced or Advanced Portfolio?
The Enhanced and Advanced Portfolios have complete sections where you
can display your resume, professional photos, contact information,
reel, and more. The transitions between pages are enhanced
with eye pleasing Flash presentations.
Should I purchase a domain name?
Having a domain name of your own such us www.YourName.com gives memorable impression of who YOU are. Most importantly, having
a domain of your name provides credibility and professionalism
to agents and casting directors.
How much does a portfolio cost?
You can always get a FREE Portfolio at no cost to you by simply registering with us. If you wish to upgrade you portfolio, refer to this page for the
latest pricing information.
Can I see a sample of what my web site might look like?
Yes. Simply click on Sample on the portfolio plan that you
wish to preview a sample template on this
page.
What if I already have my own domain name?
We will transfer your domain name to our registrar at $20
for each domain, and give you a one-year extension.
How do I send you my materials?
After you have signed up, you could login your account, and
submit your materials there.
How long will it take to create my web site?
Once we have received your materials and payment, your site
will be up and running within 7 to 10 business days.
Can I add pages later?
You can add any additional features at any time. Please click

Can you create a reel for me?
We can edit your video and/or audio materials into a digital
reel (5 minutes ~30 Mb) for $249.95.
How many photos can I put on my site?
Depending on various package, you can have up to 40 photos.

We accept all major credit cards through PayPal.
How do I update my web site?
After your web site is completed, just login to your account,
and you can update your photo gallery, resume, and any other
features that you have purchased at any time.
How do I find out more information about the current contest?
At NeedAHosting.com Hollywood edition, we strive to provide
maximum publicity for our artists. We attempt to run a contest
every month. The format and prizes may vary, but the purpose
of the contest is to promote the winners so that they have
more exposures on our site, and of course also through major
search engines. Please read the Official Rules for each contest
